Western Ankle Boot in Rust Patina with Gold Harness Chain

Western through the lines: pointed toe, stitched flame overlays running up the vamp and shaft, and a patina that moves from rust across the toe into burgundy at the heel. On the shaft the colour clouds orange over deep red, in patches that differ on each panel.

A gold harness strap crosses the instep with a chain and three ribbed metal ornaments, and the side zip carries a matching gold pull. Leather sole, block heel. The zip runs from the collar down the outside of the shaft, and an oval slotted plate sits in the strap beside the ornaments.

The overlays are cut from a darker hide than the panels beneath them and stitched down with a close line that turns at every point of the flame. Rows of the same stitch fan across the shaft above the strap.

Black lining shows at the collar and a rust pull tab is sewn into the back seam. The sole edge is cut close to the upper and finished dark brown, one fine line running to a square block heel.
