Tassel Loafer in White, Saffron and Green

White calf carries the body and the heel. It is matte, warm on the quarter and cooler at the toe. The saffron panel is deeper at the throat than at the toe, and its edge is skived to a pale tan line against the white.

The apron and vamp are saffron, and a green strap runs across the throat holding gold hardware and a pair of white leather tassels. The green is bottle dark and polished, burnished darker at both edges. The gold is a flat plate between two D rings a side, and the white lace through it knots twice before the tassels.

Leather sole, low stacked heel, hand stitched apron. The welt runs the whole way round in a fine close stitch row, dark brown against the white, and the sole edge below is burnished the same brown. A raised white bead runs the topline. Behind it the quarter is white to the sole, and the only brown at the back is the heel block.

The colourway is the Indian tricolour, put on a shoe without making a point of it.
