Black Leather Satchel with Pointed Front Strap and Buckled Side Pockets

Black all the way across, and the finish is not even. The flap reads matte. The upper right of the body carries a broad mottled sheen, glossier than the panel beside it. Grain is close and fine.

A single line of stitching sits a few millimetres in from the edge of the flap and repeats around the front pocket. The bottom seam is bound and stitched the same way. A rolled leather handle is held on by two bright metal stirrups. The long front strap is stitched onto the face of the flap and runs to a plain silver pin buckle with a keeper below it.

That strap is pointed at both ends and stitched down each edge. Holes are punched along it above the buckle, and the tail runs past the keeper to a point just short of the base. Under it is a patch pocket with a rounded flap. Each side gusset has a pocket of its own with a rounded bottom, closed by a buckle whose strap tail hangs loose below it. Three pockets on the outside.
