Tri-Tone Double Monk Strap in Royal Blue, White and Cognac

Royal blue patinated calf carries the quarters and both straps, closed with a pair of polished silver buckles. The blue is not even across a panel: it lightens through the middle of each quarter and goes close to navy at the heel seat and the strap edges. The mid panel is off white, and the wingtip toe is cognac burnished down at the edge, light at the wing notch, near brown at the tip.

Leather sole, low stacked heel. The welt is trimmed close and stained chestnut, with a fine even row of stitching and an almost black line under the edge. The heel lifts take the same chestnut stain.

No laces and no punching except along the wing seam. The strap band is wide enough to cover most of the instep, with a scalloped cut-out between the two buckles and a line of stitching along every cut edge. Inside the collar the lining shows dark against the blue.

Three colours is a lot for a monk strap, which is why the shapes underneath are kept simple.
