Tri-Tone Cap Toe Derby in Teal, Apple Green and Blush

Three panels, three colours, all patinated by hand on the same calf. Teal runs the quarters and heel, apple green takes the cap toe and the lace facings, and a blush panel sits between them along the waist. The colours are worked wet so the edges between them blur.

The teal is darkest at the welt and down the back seam, and lifts to a clear blue-green over the crown of the quarter. The green goes the other way: olive at the cap seam, bright over the top of the toe. The blush is pale enough to read the grain through.

Black laces, five eyelets, leather sole with a low stacked heel. The sole edge is cut narrow and dyed dark brown, one dark line under all three colours.

Thread is matched to each panel: pale green round the facings, tan down the blush seam. The lace holes are punched straight through the green leather with no metal eyelets. The cap seam sits on a slant, lower on the outside of the toe.
