Tobacco Suede Zip Ankle Boot with Gold Hardware

Tobacco suede, cut plain so the vamp runs unbroken to the toe. The nap is short and lies flat, and the colour moves across it: lighter through the shaft and over the instep, then deepening to a dark brown at the toe and heel counter. On the quarter it lifts again toward the collar.

The only break is the seam down the quarter and the gold zip that follows it. That seam is topstitched in a dark thread close to the fold, the stitches small and even. Dark leather sole and a stacked heel, both stained well down from the upper for contrast. The welt is trimmed narrow and stained to match, with one row of stitching along it, and the sole edge is glossed.

Cream leather lining, suede pull tab at the heel. The lining runs out to a bound collar edge, rolled over and stitched down. The zip slider sits flush at the top of that binding under a small flat pull. The heel is low with a squared breast, and the toe is an almond with no cap seam.
