Sand Suede Chelsea Boot with Natural Leather Sole

Sand coloured suede with a fine even nap, cut over an almond toe. The colour moves across the vamp: pale where the light catches the instep, deeper camel in the hollow behind the toe. One panel runs from the gusset to the toe, so no seam crosses the nap.

Black elastic gussets, suede pull tab at the heel, no broguing and no hardware anywhere on it. One row of small even stitches outlines each gusset and the topline, in thread close enough to the suede to read as a dotted line. The sole edge is narrow, trimmed tight to the upper, with no welt stitching showing.

The sole is left natural, and the stacked leather heel is unstained, so the bottom is lighter than the upper. You can count the lifts on the heel breast, and a thin black top piece sits under them. Black lining runs up the inside of the collar. The toe is long and the heel short, so the boot sits low.

It scuffs and marks with wear, which is the point of a suede boot.
