Imperial Oxfords Hand-Carved · Multi-tone

The vamp and quarters are a snake embossed calf in taupe. Toe, heel counter and facings are plain calf burnished down to a dark brown, and the patina is graded by hand so the colour lifts across the middle of the shoe. At the tip the burnish goes almost black.

Full wingtip with medallion punching, red lining, dark brown laces. Leather sole and a low stacked heel. The wing edge is gimped. The sole edge is trimmed close and finished dark brown, with one fine stitch line along the welt. Five pairs of blind eyelets and no metal on the shoe.

The larger punches along the wing line and down the heel counter seam are backed in red, so those holes read red and the small ones between them stay dark. Same red in the lining, visible at the collar.

The facings are dark brown panels stitched over the vamp with squared ends, so the lacing is open. The emboss is small at the wing and opens into broader cells across the quarter.
