Distressed Tan Leather Drawstring Backpack with Antique Brass Buckles

The hide is thick and the whole surface has crackled into a fine branching network. Dark brown sits across the flats and pale rust runs in the cracks. The front right pocket has worn back the furthest and reads almost plain tan while the body behind it stays dark.

Two straps rise from the front into antique brass pin buckles under the flap edge, each tail held by a stitched keeper. Under the flap the mouth gathers on a pale tan drawcord, and a metal eyelet for it shows at the right of the collar. The cord ends in two knots that hang over the front pocket.

A single row of stitching outlines the flap and the walls of both pockets. The side zip runs on antique brass teeth over a dark brown tape, with a doubled teardrop pull stitched round its edge. Its panel is a lighter tan than the body. The front pocket has side walls and no closure. A rolled grab handle sits above the flap. The base folds and slumps where the bag was set down.
