Dark Brown Polished Leather Bifold Wallet with Flip-Out ID Window

The leather is dark brown and polished to a high shine. The dye sits unevenly on purpose: the raised centre of the coin flap lifts to a warm chestnut while the fold and the perimeter stay close to black. Under the gloss the surface carries a fine mottled figure, slightly cloudy.

It folds once. Tan thread runs the full perimeter in a tight, even stitch, and a second line closes the top of the card stack. The four slot lips below are unstitched, each a plain rolled fold burnished to a highlight. The centre gusset is cut from a coarser, more wrinkled hide than the flat panels.

The left panel has a flip-out ID window that lifts clear of the card slots beneath it. Behind it sits a grey woven panel with the maker name in gold, a coarser weave than the near-black lining behind the slots. On the right, a coin pocket closes under a flap with a rounded bottom edge and no stud. The same name is pressed blind into the right panel, underlined.
