Dark Brown Leather Coin Pouch with Gold-Tone Press Stud

The leather is dark brown and matte, with wax rubbed back over the front panel so the colour sits lighter across the raised areas and drops to near black in the creases along the fold. Fine wrinkling runs through the grain, heaviest where the flap bends over the top edge.

The top folds over in one piece with no seam across it, and the flap drops down the front to a curved lower edge. One row of brown stitching runs down both sides and along the base. At the bottom corners it follows the leather round, so the turn is a curve. The cut edges are left raw and unpainted, a shade lighter than the face where they catch the light.

The single gold-tone press stud sits just above the low point of the flap and is centred on the front. Its cap is small against the width of the flap it holds. The body is cut with depth in it, so the pouch stands square on its own base.
