Dark Brown Distressed Leather Messenger Bag with Twin Buckle Straps

The hide is a dark brown with a red cast under it, and the finish sits unevenly across the panels. A pale rubbed band runs the width of the flap near its top edge. At the rounded corners the colour drops to a deeper red-brown.

Four silver rivets sit in two vertical pairs just above the bottom edge of the flap, one pair left of centre and one right of it. The centre is bare. Each pair caps a strap that comes out from under the flap and buckles on the front panel below. Every buckle is plain bent wire: a rectangular frame with a pin and no roller barrel.

Tan thread runs a single row round the flap edge and a double row round the pocket. The pocket is cut from a darker hide than the body, and its rounded flap is held by one rivet above a short strap that buckles it shut. The shoulder strap carries a second, wider layer of leather over its middle, cut to a rounded tip.
