Dark Brown Distressed Leather Briefcase with Twin Buckle Flap Pockets

The hide is dark brown and waxed. The colour pulls up to a lighter tan along every crease and fold, and rust-brown patches sit on the front panel and both flaps. The grain is coarse and uneven, and the handle straps already hold their fold lines.

Every piece of metal is antique brass: plain domed rivets at the handle tabs and on the strap keepers, D-rings the tabs run through, pin buckles, swivel hooks. A brass-toothed zip crosses the middle of the front panel, set into a leather surround under a stitched strip. The main compartment closes with a zip along the top. Stitching is tan thread, a shade lighter than the hide.

Both flap pockets close on a pin buckle, the strap tail held by a keeper. A narrow slot sits between them under its own leather keeper, and a zip runs down the panel on each side of it. The shoulder strap unclips at both hooks and carries a wide leather pad on black webbing. One more pocket sits in the side gusset.
