Cognac Patina Chelsea Boot with Navy Counter and Commando Sole
Cognac hand patina Chelsea boot with a contrast navy heel counter, on a lugged commando sole with a cream stacked midsole.
Cognac patina across the vamp and quarters, worked light over the instep and darker at the edges, with the heel counter cut in navy calf for contrast. The brush marks run lengthwise up each panel, pale gold through the middle, deepening to red brown at the toe and where the cognac meets the navy.
Black elastic gussets, navy leather pull tab. The bottom is what changes the character: a black lugged commando sole on a cream and black stacked midsole, which pushes a fairly formal upper into something you can wear with denim. From the side you count four bands: cream cord, black, cream cord, lug tread.
A thin rust cord binds the topline. It crosses from the navy counter onto the cognac quarters. The pull tab is folded and stitched close to both edges, with the tan flesh side showing inside the loop. Lining is black at the collar. The toe is a plain round almond with no cap and no stitching on the vamp.
