Burgundy and Croc Embossed Spectator Wingtip Oxford

Burgundy calf, polished up, carries the wingtip, heel counter and facings. The polish runs to a mirror on the toe cap, near black at the wing seam. The saddle and the panel ahead of it are croc embossed leather, dyed so the tone lifts from mid tan at the top to bone across the vamp. The cells shift from squared tiles at the saddle to wider ones over the vamp.

Full brogue punching, dark laces, leather sole with a low stacked heel. A narrow welt runs the whole edge, stitched close above the sole, and the sole edge is burnished dark brown. Wing and quarter seams are gimped, a fine sawtooth before the punching starts.

The two textures sit at roughly the same weight, so neither one takes over. The toe cap medallion is a looped swirl of small holes inside a ring of larger ones. Croc carries on up through the five eyelet rows, with a strip of the polished calf down each facing edge. The lining is a smooth red brown, visible at the topline.
