Black Snake Embossed Ratchet Belt with Leather Inlaid Silver Buckle

The strap face is embossed with small overlapping snake scales in tight offset rows. The emboss is shallow and matt, so the black reads flat and only the raised scale edges pick up light. Every row repeats without variation. The underside is a smooth black backing, no flesh side showing, with black stitching close to the edge.

There are no punched holes. A moulded black track of short square teeth is set into the underside and the buckle bites onto it, so the fit shifts in small steps. The buckle is polished metal, squared across the top and rounded at the tip. A knurled oval lever at its lower edge works the release.

A black panel with a fine crackled grain is set into the buckle face, so the front is matt where the frame around it is mirror bright. That frame is cut away either side of the panel, two angular openings to the left and two mirrored to the right. The strap edges are glossy black and stand proud of the embossed face.
